四弦琴緣 Four-String Mate

Guitar, Ukulele and Ruan

The lute is beloved by music enthusiasts. Among these plucked instruments, the four-stringed lute (ukulele) is easy to learn, while the six-stringed lute (guitar) offers rich expressiveness, each attracting its own set of enthusiasts.

The instrument offers a variety of musical possibilities, such as singing while performing, accompanying a piece of music, and instrumental performance. In addition, it provides a natural acoustic sound and is portable, allowing people to enjoy music at gatherings, outings, picnics, camping, and other occasions.

The four-stringed lute is considered a relatively easy instrument, allowing even casual musicians to immerse themselves in music. Common types of four-stringed lutes include the ukulele, mandolin, and ruan.

However, the fretboard system of the four-string instruments is relatively simple and may have limitations when playing complex harmonies. If necessary, one can still learn and play non-four-string instruments like the guitar without confining oneself to any limitations.

In addition to the lute, we are incorporating some small percussion instruments on the website, such as the cajón. These percussion instruments add color to the music, making it sound more dynamic, lively, and rhythmic.
